FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham School Committee last night, March 30, unanimously approved a $154.2 million budget.

The budget now goes to Mayor Charlie Sisitsky to review and decided to accept, lower, or increase that budget amount before submitting it to the City’s legislative branch of government – the 11-member City Council – for approval.

The budget approved for the 2022-23 school year (Fiscal 2023) includes 51.7 new positions, at $2.9 million.

SOURCE will have a more detailed budget report later.
