FRAMINGHAM – The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority Advisory Board (MWRTA) approved appointing Community Paradigm Associates as the search firm to assist in finding a new executive director during its meeting March 17.
The MWRTA vote to approve the search firm was 7-0-1.
Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Hudson, Hopkinton, Wayland, Wellesley & Weston voted.
Representatives from Hopkinton, Sherborn, Sudbury, Marlborough, Southborough, Hopedale, Holliston, Milford, and Dover were all absent from the meeting.

Ray Ledoux, chair of the search subcommittee, said the firm was unanimously recommended by the subcommittee.
Ledoux said Community Paradigm Associates’ proposal was “superior to all of the other proposals.”
Bernard Lynch, the founder and managing principal of Community Paradigm Associates, was present at the meeting and said the firm hopes to “really grasp and understand the current issues of the authority and what you’re looking for with regards to a new administrator.”
“The key here is building upon the success of the organization and continuing to grow it in these challenging times,” said Lynch.
Members of the board were asked to forwarded questions to the search firm.
A motion was made to charge the search committee with finalizing the job description. The motion passed 8-0.
