We know why you always told us to be strong.  You knew that one day we would need the strength to bear your loss.

The world lost a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Noemi Morales Beltran, went to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving children and husband on March 13, 2022.

Our mother was born January 14, 1950, in Humacao, Puerto Rico to Pilar Beltran and Octavio Morales.

She married her husband Israel Saldana in May 1964 and with him started the Saldana clan.

She leaves behind her children, Marisol Saldana Stroum and David, Israel (Izzy) Saldana Jr and Laura, Edgar Saldana and Clari, Obed Saldana, Melvin Saldana, Ruth E. Saldana and Erasmo Diaz. She loved us more than life itself.

Her grandchildren, Jonathan, David and Joseph Pagan, Jessica and Matt Maguy, Tristian Diaz, Kayla and Michael Garrett, Zoe and Jasmine Saldana and Josan Diaz.  She wanted the best for each and everyone one of them always.

Her Great Grandchildren Madison and Charlotte Maguy, Michael Rando Garrett and Joshua Maguy, they were being taught to call her G.G. mom.

She’s also survived by her siblings Maria, Aida, Raymond, Candy, Samuel, Loida and Reinaldo Morales, as well as many nephews and nieces.  She loved and cared for them deeply.

Nothing made our mother happier than to spend time with her family, especially when she cooked her large meals.  She made cakes for all of our special occasions; they were always extremely large but she always wanted everyone walking out with a “to go” bag.  We will forever miss her beautiful cakes and delicious cooking.

Mami loved taking care of others, from the children in the school she worked at to elder family and friends, she had a giving heart and it made her happier to do for others than for herself.  She had a positive impact on everyone she met and she will be greatly missed by many.

She loved fellowshipping with her brothers and sisters in the lord. Her faith carried her through many ups and downs and led her to eternal glory.  We love you and will forever have an empty place in our hearts but thank you for all the beautiful memories.  Your smiling face and words of wisdom will carry us through the rest of our lives.  Until we see you again.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Noemi for a period of visitation on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA 01721.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
