FRAMINGHAM – A male cyclist was struck on Edgell Road near Harrington Road, just north of Water Street in Nobscot section of the City on Friday, March 11 around 10:45 a.m.
Framingham Fire Engine 7 & Ambulance 4 responded to the scene near the 1200 block of Edgell Road, along with Framingham Police.
The cyclists was a 30-year old man, according to the Framingham Police spokesperson.
“A male patient was evaluated and transported” MetroWest Medical center in Framingham with “minor injuries,” said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.
The driver, who remained on scene, “pulled out from Harrington Rd onto Edgell and struck a cyclist,” said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.
The operator remained on scene and was cited for a stop sign violation, said Lt. Mickens.
