SHERBORN – Charlotte E. Ludington, 99, of Sherborn, died Saturday March 5, 2022.

Born in Boston, Miss Ludington was a daughter of the late Homer John Ludington and the late Annie Louise (Curwen) Ludington.

She had been a resident of Sherborn for the past 63 years.

Charlotte, a resident of Sherborn for the past 63 years was a graduate of Engineering at Northeastern University.

Prior to her retirement she was employed at Hanscom Field.

Pioneering in substrate transistors and night vision technologies.

In her retirement Charlotte was an avid Bichon Club member and was proud of her dog’s championships, once winning the Best in Show Specialty award. Charlotte loved, reading, feeding the animals, and visiting with friends and family. She was selfless and kind, always remembering every birthday, anniversary, and holiday, celebrating them in her special way.

She was the sister of the late Frances A. Ludington, Ronald E. Ludington, Margaret Callan, Homer E. Ludington, Robert E. Ludington, Richard O. Ludington, and Earl Ludington. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces and grand-nephews whom she stayed in touch with like no other.

Visiting hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street in Natick on Friday March 18, 2022 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., prior to the Funeral Service in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 39 East Central Street in Natick, at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sherborn.
