FRAMINGHAM – A woman, 31, was struck at Shoppers World on Tuesday, March 8 just before 5 p.m.

The call came in for a pedestrian struck at 1 Worcester Road at 4:57 p.m.

“The pedestrian was crossing the street in the parking lot of Shopper’s World when she was struck,” said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“It does not appear she was in the crosswalk at the time,”said the police spokesperson.

The woman was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham with “minor injuries,” said Lt. Mickens.

“The operator did stop,” said Lt. Mickens. “No citation has been issued.”

Police are investigating.

Framingham Fire responded to the incident, as well as Framingham Police, and Brewster Ambulance.
