BURLINGTON – The Framingham High boys ice hockey team advanced to the finals of the Cahoon Cup Monday with a shut out of the Medford High Mustangs.

The Flyers won 6-0.

Caleb Patrick scored the game-winning goal a minute into the contest.

Brendan Peck made it 2-0 Flyers in the first period. PJ Farese scored to make it 3-0 to end the first period.

Jeremy Auren, Jack Kurzman, and Joey Ferrante scored the Flyers other goals.

Chelmsford beat host Burlington High 6-1.

Flyers will battle Chelmsford in the finals.
