FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library and Community Vibes Framingham have teamed up for a free screening of the movie Marshall on Friday night, February 25 at the main Framingham Public Library.

Marshall is based on the incredible true story of future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and one of the landmark cases of his life.

It follows the young lawyer (the late Chadwick Boseman) to conservative Connecticut to defend a black chauffeur (Sterling K. Brown) charged with sexual assault and attempted murder of his white socialite employer (Kate Hudson).

Muzzled by a segregationist court, Marshall partners with a courageous young Jewish lawyer (Josh Gad) and together they mount the defense in an environment of racism and anti-Semitism.

To register, email Rick Utaegbulam at wriz879@hotmail.com. Space is limited. Please RSVP by February 21.

  • Admission at 6 p.m.
  • Showtime at 6:15 p.m.
  • Discussion at 8:15 to 9:00 p.m.
