FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham’s assistant director of development in the technology department is retiring after 25-plus years, later this month.

Hired in 1994 as the manager of database services, Alan Holt will retire on February 28, 2022.

Before coming to the Town of Framingham, he was the Vice President of Vertico.

A Boston University graduate, the assistant director of development is responsible for the integration of data from disparate systems.

The position also promotes access to information for citizens and employees, according to the City.

The City of Framingham’s technology department has two assistant directors, along with Director Carly Melo.

The position has not been posted yet. The salary was between $90,000 and $100,000.
