FRAMINGHAM – A man pulled from a Framingham brook Sunday afternoon, January 30, has died said the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.

“The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office is investigating the death of a 45-year-old male that occurred in Framingham on January 30, 2022,” said the DA spokesperson.

Just before 12:30 p.m. Framingham Fire responded to an emergency call for a man on Berkeley Road.

Scanner had the man not breathing and firefighters performing CPR on him.

“Framingham police responded to a residence on Berkeley Road and located the male close to a stream on the rear side of the property,” said the DA spokesperson.

The male was subsequently transported to MetroWest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said the DA spokesperson today, January 31.

This case has been referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.

The investigation is open and ongoing at this time.
