NORTON – The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a winter storm watch for MetroWest .as a serious nor-easter is expected to hit this weekend.
The federal agency is forecasting between 8 and 18 inches of snow, with wind gusts of ip to 60 miles per hour especially on the shore and cape Cod.T.
Storm is expected to begin late Friday night and last until Saturday evening.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
Strong winds could cause tree damage and power outages.
