MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough reported 260 new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days.

The City said, as of January 14, it has 589 active cases.

Since the pandemic began in 2020, the Marlborough has had 9,512 COVID cases, and 135 deaths.

The positive rate over the last 24 days 9December 26 through January 8) is 29.15%.

That is up from the previous weekly report, which was 19.23%.

The Marlborough Board of Health voted on January 13, to implement a mask mandate in the City starting on January 21.
