FRAMINGHAM – Paul Lodovico, 66 of Framingham passed away peacefully on January 3 2022 after a long battle with Frontotemporal Dementia.
Paul leaves his wife Suzanne Summa Lodovico, a daughter Chelsea Lodovico and son John Lodovico.
He is survived by 2 brothers, John Lodovico Jr., Bill Lodovico, and sister Ann Taylor. Paul was loved Uncle to his nieces Chrystal Lodovico Kozak, Ashley Lodovico Sloate, Jillian Lodovico Flaherty and Gina Lodovico and 4 nephews Patrick Taylor, Andrew Taylor, George Callaghan, and Kevin Callaghan and 4 grandnephews.
Paul was born in Bristol, Ct. and following his initial retail position with G. Fox, moved to Massachusetts to pursue his retail career with Jordan Marsh as a menswear Buyer and eventually moved over to the world of off price buying where he spent time as a menswear buyer with TJ MAXX and BJ Wholesale Club.
He concluded his career as VP of Wholesale Coordinator’s for Philips Van Heusen.
Paul’s life centered on his family, the NY Yankees (despite spending the last 33 years of his life in the heart of Red Sox Nation) and getting his daily Grande Latte from Starbucks. Besides enjoying the long and sometimes tedious baseball season, Paul loved summers at Watch Hill RI where he was one of the founding members of the WHBA. Nothing brought more joy to Paul then sitting on the beach listening to the FAN on a Saturday afternoon with his old school AM/FM transistor radio and waiting for John Sterling’s final call of the game, “Theee Yankeees Win, Theee Yankeees Win”.
Paul’s off season was spent listening to Yankees Hot Stove to analyze any off-season trade acquisitions and discussing with his cousin Eddie on the merits off stacking the lineup with pitching or power hitting.
Paul was known for his razor-sharp wit and sense of humor which will be missed by all his friends and family!
Calling hours will be held at the Norton Funeral Home at 53 Beech Street in Framingham, Ma from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday Jan 15, 2021.
