FRAMINGHAM – John Raymond Garbarino, 84, peacefully passed away on Sunday January 2, 2022, surrounded by his loving wife Carol, his three daughters Lisa Oswell, Lori Garbarino, and Lee Bingham and his six grandchildren Kirk Oswell Jr., Katherine Oswell, Jordan Rae Alexson, Haley Ann Alexson, Brooke Bingham, and Connor Bingham.

He was the son of the late Raymond Thomas Garbarino and Florence Veronica (Tomassetti) Garbarino and the brother of the late Phyllis (Garbarino) Pascucci.

John was a great athlete and was a member of many of the sports teams while he was in high school, lettering in basketball, baseball, and football.

After graduating from Bentley University, John went on to pursue a career in accounting and finance. While working in the construction industry for many years, John, Carol, and the children enjoyed spending their summers on Cape Cod.

John was very proud of his children and grandchildren and actively participated in all their activities.

John was a lifelong resident of Framingham and carried out the church ministries at St Bridget’s church in Framingham where he took great pride in leading the daily Rosary at the 9 a.m. Mass.

Family and friends will honor and remember John’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 11 in St. Bridget’s Church, 830 Worcester Rd., Framingham at 10 o’clock. His mass will be live streamed.  Interment will be private.
