ASHLAND – Gerald Anthony Borelli, 82 of Ashland passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. 

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Frederick and Louise (Bianchino) Borelli. 

He was the husband of the late Suzanne (Griffin) Borelli for 54 years. 

A longtime resident of Ashland, Gerry and his wife Sue owned and operated Weld Rite Inc. of Ashland for many years. 

Mr. Borelli served his country honorably in the US Army from 1962-64. 

 He is survived by four children, Yvonne Borelli-Chace and her husband Bob; Jay Borelli; Patrick Borelli and his wife Whitnie Bennion; and Daniel Borelli and his wife Anna; nine grandchildren; Griffin, Francessca, Jacqueline, Nicholas, Vincenzo, Rosili, Joseph, Vera, and Isabella, two great-grandchildren, Rose and Ruby, and two siblings, Frederick Borelli and his wife Maxine of Milford, MA, and Donna Smith of Sandy Springs, GA.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 11 at 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Parish, 54 Esty Street in Ashland, with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. 

There are no calling hours.
