St. John’s Defeats Framingham 2-1 in Consolation Game of Pat Serio Cup

CANTON – St. John’s of Shrewsbury defeated Framingham High in the consolation game of the Pat Serio MHL Cup at the Ice House in Canton tonight, December 29.

The Pioneers won 2-1.

The first period ended in a scoreless tie.

St. John’s got on the board first in the second period.

Noah Albright, assisted by Davin Nichols, scored the lone goal for the Flyers for the second consecutive day.

With about 4 minutes left in the game, Luke Gerardi scored the game winner for St. John’s.

Flyers are now 1-2 on the season.
