FRAMINGHAM – For the second consecutive Christmas, there is a surge of COVID-19 cases in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The pandemic that started in early 2020, is still here, despite the introduction of vaccines in 2021.

Saturday, December 25 is Christmas. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some families are limiting large gatherings.

Federal, state, and municipal offices, including the City of Framingham’s Memorial Building, Ashland and Natick Town Halls, and Marlborough City Hall are closed.

Mail: Post offices closed; limited express delivery.

Supermarkets: Almost all the major ones are closed.

Convenience stores: Some are open

Banks: Closed.

Stockmarket: Closed

Movie Theatres: Open.
