ASHLAND – Ashland Public Schools reported 18 COVID cases in the school district between December 16-22.

Of the 18 cases, 17 were students.

The public school district conducted 2 pooled COVID test, with no positive cases between December 13 and 19.

Between December 5-19, the Town of Ashland reported 145 new COVID cases.

The rate of positivity over the last 14 days was 4.59%

Since the start of the pandemic, there has been more than 2000 COVID cases – the exact number as of December 18 is 2,048.

Neighboring Framingham has had a surge of COVID cases since Thanksgiving.

In comparison, that public school district had 126 new student cases and 23 staff cases between Dec. 16-22.
