SOUTHBOROUGH – A crash resulted in a 2-alarm house fire in Southborough overnight.

Southborough and Westborough firefighters responded to the house fire on Framingham Road in Southborough on Saturday, December 18.

Southborough Fire Department arrived at the fiery crash into a house at 89 Framingham Road about 1:30 a.m.

By the time firefighters arrived, the fire had engulfed the first and second floors of the house.

Two people were injured and transported to the hospital.

The driver and passenger suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital.

The residents of the home safely escaped without any injuries, tbut hey are displaced from their home due to the fire.

The crash is under investigation.
