FRAMINGHAM – Kathleen M. “Kathy” Rogers, 55, of Framingham and formerly of Marlborough died suddenly at home on Thursday November 25, 2021.
She was born and raised in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Sandberg) Rogers and was a 1984 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, and Regis College in Weston where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 1988.
Kathy was a licensed hairstylist and worked for 40 years at Hair by Eugene and Associates in Framingham & Natick.
She loved going to Hampton and York Beaches. Her favorite thing to do was spoiling her nephews and nieces. Kathy had an amazing sense of humor, always with her crazy little antics. She could not resist buying novelty items that made her and everyone around her laugh. She will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness and amazingly huge heart.
She leaves two sisters Patricia A. Torchio of Framingham and Carol A. Nelson and her husband Erik of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Thomas F. Rogers and his wife Laura of Pelham, NH and Michael E. Rogers and his wife Audra of Hudson; an Uncle Walter Plouffe and his wife Chris, of Lancaster; five nephews and nieces, Ashley Cristofori, Justin Rogers, Cole Nelson, Cade Nelson and Avery Rogers. She also leaves many beloved friends, especially her amazing extended family/coworkers Eugene, Stephanie, Tanya Kowalczykowski and Jane Dicenso.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday November 30 from 5-7 p.m. in the Collins Funeral Home(www.collinsfuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street.
Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
