FRAMINGHAM – Metrowest Pharmacy, on 214 Union Avenue in Framingham, now is offering free, drive-up PCR COVID-19 testing.

Testing will be available 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“We are so happy to be able to provide Framimgham with a free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing site,” said MetroWest Pharmacy owner Shivang Patel. “Just park in the specially-marked parking spot at the time of your appointment and we’ll come out to test you. It couldn’t be easier.”

MetroWest Pharmacy is using both nasal and saliva PCR tests.

Results typically come in between 24 and 48 hours.

Appointments must be made online at MetroWest Pharmacy’s website at metrowestpharmacy.com

Those who need any additional assistance are invited to call the pharmacy. Alternative testing arrangements will be made.

“Even with vaccinations available, testing is as important as ever to help stop the spread,” explained Patel. “We are doing everything we can to make testing and vaccinations as easy and accessible to as many people as we can.”

The COVID-19 PCR test is free for those insured and uninsured as well. Residents can get tested even without insurance, a driver’s license, or a Social Security number. Identification is not required.

Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, and Hindi translators are available at the pharmacy.
