WAKEFIELD – Framingham High finished in first place at the NESBA fall marching band competition in Wakefield over the weekend, said band director Andy Jasinski.

The band & color guard captured first place in Division II with a score of 79.9 points, said Jasinski.

Framingham Flyers also “swept the division with all high caption awards; music, percussion, and color guard,” said Jasinski.

The band & color guard will compete again in Billerica on Saturday, October 16.

The event starts at 4 p.m. Framingham will compete in Division II between 4 and 5 p.m.
