FRAMINGHAM – Sister Rita Anne Davis, CSJ, (Sister Anna Rita), in her 75^th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Monday, October 4, 2021.

  Devoted daughter of the late William J. and Agnes M. (Forde) Davis, and beloved sister of the late William, John, James, Thomas, Joseph, Mary Maguire, Agnes Dutka, Ann DiMare, Alice Grimes and Irene Robideau. 

Sister Rita Anne is survived by her many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, and her Sisters in the Congregation. 

Formerly missioned as food provider to St. Benedict Parish, Somerville; St. Ambrose Parish, Dorchester; Sacred Heart Parish, W. Lynn; St. Mary Parish, Dedham; Gate of Heaven Parish, South Boston; Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Jamaica Plain; and St. John Parish, Winthrop.

Sister Rita Ann also ministered as a nurse’s aide at Bethany Hospital and Fontbonne Hall, Framingham; and for many years served in central supply at Bethany Health Care Center, Framingham.

Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, Friday, October 8, 2021, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick.

COVID Protocols must be observed (Mask mandate).
