HENNIKER, NEW HAMPSHIRE – The Framingham State University volleyball team traveled to New England College and were defeated 3-0 Tuesday evening by the Pilgrims in non-conference action at Bridges Gym.

New England College improves to 11-4.

Framingham State drops to 7-10 overall.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

  • The Rams were defeated in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-15.
  • Isabel Henwood paced the back row for the Rams with a team-best 11 digs to go along with a pair of aces.
  • Brandee Thomas added seven kills with six digs, while Valerie Sullivan added six kills and two blocks.
  • Hayley Gaskin picked up 17 set assists, while also recording five digs and an ace.
  • The Pilgrims were led by 12 kills and 10 digs from Shirita Wimberly, while Tatiana Sampson added nine.
  • Jaycie Kodama finished with a match-best 21 defensive digs, while Kenzie Barron tallied 32 set assists.

UP NEXT: The Rams are back in action Saturday when they travel to Smith Collee for a non-conference tri-match with Southern Maine.
