FRAMINGHAM – Francesco Gregory Bagnardi, 27, of Phoenix AZ, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2021.

Frankie was born in Key West, Florida. At the age of 2, he moved with his family to Framingham, which he considered his home town. Frankie was a kind gentle person who loved video gaming and spending vacations with his extended family.

He had a gift for computer programming and was able to follow that passion as the Lead Developer for Sleepwalk Inc. He enjoyed working on open-source coding projects and he also co-authored the text book Developing a React Edge.

Frankie was renown in the open-source community for his brilliant contributions and keen ability to help thousands of fellow developers. Colleagues refer to him as genius in his field.

Frankie leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his parents, Frank and Juliet Bagnardi of
Framingham, MA; his brother TJ Bagnardi of Framingham; his paternal grandparents, Frank and
Madeline Bagnardi of Oneonta, NY; his maternal grandparents, Theodore and Bernice Kottke of
Oneonta, NY; his uncles and aunts, John Bagnardi, Janet (Scott) Ford, Nancy (Kevin) Thompson, Greg (Dianne) Kottke, Rebecca (Monta) Steagall; and his many cousins.

A memorial will be planned for the immediate family.
