FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys cross-country team improved to 4-1 on the season defeating both Brookline High and Braintree High at Farm Pond Park yesterday, September 22.
Framingham defeated Brookline 27-29.
“Sam Burgess coasted to victory and helped pace the veteran squad for the first loop at Farm Pond,’ said head coach Ed Crowley.
Junior Burgess won the 5K event in 16.59 minutes.
This was the final home meet of the season for the Flyers.
Senior Shand Seiffert finished in 17:22. He was the second across the finish line for the Flyers and fourth overall.
Senior Arnav Singh finished fifth overall and third for Framingham in 17.30 minutes.

Senior Ryan Gaglione was 8th overall in 17:48 minutes.
Senior Jordan Book was fifth across the finish line for the Flyers and 9th overall in 17:51 minutes.
Framingham junior Andrew Hohenstein finished 10th overall in 17:56 minutes.
Framingham High senior Jordan Spector was 13th overall in 18:17 minutes.
Senior Bryce Casey was 22nd overall in 20:20 minutes for Framingham.
Framingham’s next meet is Wednesday, September 29, at Wompatuck State Park against Wellesley High and host Weymouth High.
