Police: Man Strikes Another On Head With Piece of Wood

FRAMINGHAM – Police were called to Dollar General on Route 135 for a reported assault yesterday morning, around 11:45.

Last night, September 16, at 8:30, police arrested Andrew Mix, 27, with no known address at Dollar General, 208 Waverley Street. He was charged with assault & battery with a dangerous weapon.

“Mix struck an individual on the head with a piece of wood,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Lt. Mickens said the “two individuals” knew each other.

“The victim was evaluated but not transported” to a hospital she said.
