FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Parks & Recreation Department and the Framingham Police Athletic League (PAL) will be hosting a basketball tournament at Bowditch Field this weekend.

The tournmament starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 19.

The PAL Basketball Tournament will consist of both High School and Adult teams from throughout the community.  

A DJ will be on hand and Center Pizza will be there selling food and refreshments.  Come by and support Framingham’s youth.

The purpose of the PAL Basketball Program is to promote positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. 

Members of the law enforcement community along with experienced coaches mentor the youth to realize their full potential as productive members of society.

The PAL program meets  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at the basketball courts at Mary Dennison Park and is free of charge.

The program will move inside to Harmony Grove Elementary School once the weather does not allow for outdoor play.
