FRAMINGHAM – Local 1652 announced it is endorsing Jake Binnall for District 2 City Councilor.

Binall is challenging the current City Councilor. Voters will decide on Tuesday, November 2.

“Jake will bring his energy to any issues that District 2 or the City of Framingham may have. Though he is youthful, his passion has driven him to be active in Framingham politics for over a
decade,” said Local 1652 Framingham Firefighters President Andrew Rokes. “Local 1652 supports Jakes vision not only for the Fire department but all essential services in Framingham.”

“I am so honored and grateful for the endorsement of Framingham Firefighters IAFF Local 1652. Each and every day, these first responders put their life on the line to protect our community, and there is no circumstance in which we should be sending our firefighters to calls ill-equipped. Having spoken to Local 1652, it’s clear they need more support in City Hall. As a City Councilor, I will proudly make sure they have what they need to do their jobs safely and efficiently,” said Binnall.

Framingham District 2 is comprised of Precincts 3 and 5.
