1 Framingham Public Library kicks off its Framingham Reads Together 2021 campaign with a presentation by Framingham Assistant Superintendent of Schools Joe Corazzini and Taylor Collins about Dr. Ibram X. Kendi’s bestselling Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America

2. The Framingham Police Advisory Committee will host a Framingham Police Department community presentation on Framingham’s veterans court tonight on Zoom at 7 p.m.  

Framingham Police Lieutenant Robert Downing will present and will be joined by Judge Michael Fabri, who oversees Framingham’s veterans court

  • Team Framingham at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Board of Library Trustees: Governance Subcommittee at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Human Relations Commission at 7 p.m.

According to the Mayor’s publicly posted schedule, she has no public events today.

UPDATED: The City CIO later updated her schedule to have the Mayor attend the Pelham Lifelong Learning center open House today from 4 to 6 p.m.

  • Framingham High field hockey opens the season on the road against the Newton North Tigers at 4:30 p.m.
  • Framingham boys soccer has its season opener today against Shrewsbury at 6 p.m. on the road

5. Framingham Farmers’ Market will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. on the Framingham Centre Common.
