WASHINGTON DC – United States Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) issued the following joint statement on Massachusetts receiving $175 million in American Rescue Plan funding through the Capital Projects Fund which will be used to provide broadband connectivity for the hardest hit communities.

“The public health and economic crisis laid bare the urgent need to connect every home and business in the Commonwealth with affordable, high-speed broadband. This critical funding from the Capital Projects Fund will ensure that high-quality broadband and other connectivity infrastructure, devices, and equipment reach communities throughout Massachusetts,” Senators Warren and Markey said.
