FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced this afternoon, August 23, that Mayor Yvonne Spicer will hold a community hour tomorrow, August 24 at 5 p.m. on “Inspiring the Next Generation of our Workforce.”
“Join Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer, Citizen Participation Officer Alaa Abusalah, and MassHire’s
Employment Coordinator Walter Joval to learn more about the Mayor’s Youth Internship Program, which allowed 116 of Framingham’s youth to explore careers in public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and understand new skills in real-world settings this summer,” said the press release from the City’s Chief Information Officer Kelly McFalls.
Last week, SOURCE media requested a list of all the interns in the City of Framingham under the new program.
McFalls told the digital news outlet there were just 5 interns in the City.
