Stop & Shop is Not Closing Framingham Store

FRAMINGHAM – It is not often that SOURCE writes a non news report, but Stop & Shop is not closing a store in Framingham.

The digital news outlet has been receiving several emails, text messages, Facebook messages, etc this month about a rumor that Stop & Shop plans to close one of its two supermarkets in the City of Framingham.

SOURCE reached out to Stop & Shop HQ and received this statement.

“Stop & Shop has no plans to close either of our Framingham stores,” said a spokesperson for the company at 9 tonight, August 11.
