BOSTON – The National Weather Service out of Boston/Norton said there is a threat of severe thunderstorms this afternoon, July 21.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after p.m.

Some of the storms could produce small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain.

Partly sunny, with a high near 82.

The threat of thunderstorm continues into Wednesday night.

Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 59. Northwest wind 3 to 6 mph.

Chance of precipitation is 60%.

New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
