FRAMINGHAM – Police are seeking two men, who jumped into a vehicle stopped at an intersection in downtown Framingham, and robbed the driver at gunpoint.

A driver of a vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Haven and Hollis streets, “two unknown males entered the backseat of the vehicle, showed a handgun, and demanded their property,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The suspects left the vehicle with a “backpack containing personal items and approximately $40,” said the Police spokesperson.

The armed robbery took place at 11:15 p.m. last night, July 19.

One male was described as a tall, black male wearing a black sweatshirt, and a baseball cap worn backwards, said police.

The other male was described as possibly being Hispanic, wearing a sweatshirt with the hood over his head, said police.

Both were last seen running towards Haven Street.

No one was injured, said Lt. Mickens.
