FRAMINGHAM – Marvin R. Teel, age 92, of Framingham, Died, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Seasons Hospice Center in Milton, MA. Marvin was the son of the late Helene R. (Boutin) Power, and Frederick M. Teel.
Marvin spent most of his early years in Framingham, where he attended the Jonathan Maynard School, and graduated from Framingham High School in 1946. He played basketball on his high school team during his junior and senior year.
After high school, Marvin served in the USMC where he achieved the rank of corporal.
Upon returning from the service, Marvin attended Northeastern University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
He worked as a sales representative for the General Printing Ink Company, and spent most of his career as a sales rep and manager for Wycoff Color Corporation. He was a color matcher at Superior Printing during the last years of his career.
Marvin was a member of the Aleppo Shriners and the Framingham Elks.
Marvin married the love of his life, Beatrice (Boston) Teel in 1963. In addition to his wife, Beatrice, he is survived by his daughter, Joanne M. (Teel) Williams of Overland Park, KS, his son-in-law, Scott W. Williams, grandchildren, Matthew Williams of Overland Park, KS, and Mitchell Williams and his wife Chantelle of Denver, CO.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 11AM at Edgell Grove Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., Framingham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607.
