Kathleen M. Marcos, 70, Owner of Unison Consultants

ASHLAND – Kathleen M. “Kathy” Marcos, 70 of Ashland, passed away Thursday July 1, 2021.

Daughter of Evelyn (Riley) Marcos of Somerville, and the late Frederick Marcos.

Beloved wife of Barry J. Smith of Ashland.

Sister-in-law of Norman “Roy” Smith of Australia. Kathy is survived by several cousins and friends.

Kathy received an undergraduate degree from Boston University, graduating in 1972. Kathy later received a Masters degree in Computer Science from Bentley College.

Kathy worked as a Programmer Analyst for a number of Financial Institutions, notably Fidelity Investments; John Hancock and others. She Later started her own company called Unison Consultants.

Kathy was very drawn to music, taking lessons in vocals and piano, both in Boston and later, New York City.

Visiting in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, in Natick on Tuesday July 6,2021 from 11 a.m. to noon, with a funeral service at noon.

Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
