Framingham School Committee Votes To Name Fuller Middle Theatre Chris Walsh Performing Arts Center

FRAMINGHAM – When the new Fuller Middle School opens on September 1, the theatre will be called the Chris Walsh Performing Arts Center, in honor of the late Framingham state representative.

The School Committee voted unanimously last month to name the auditorium area after the architect and state representative.

Walsh was also a founding member of the Fuller Middle School Building Committee.

He helped “design the building with an equity lens, and ensured spaces like the science labs, auditorium, and outdoor spaces were prioritized for inclusion,” said Framingham School Committee Chair Adam Freudberg.
