NORWELL – Class of 2021 Framingham High graduate Sophie Albright won the MIAA all-state high jump title over the weekend at Norwell High.

This is Albright’s second all-state title. She won on in indoor track & field and one in outdoor track field.

Albright’s 1.72 meters was her best height this season. Dedham’s Ridecia Bernard took second in 1.67 meters.

Albright will attend Boston College in the fall.

Framingham sophomore Sam Burgess finished 5th overall in the 2-mile race at the all-state meet on June 26. His time was a personal record at 9:11.96 minutes.

Sophomore St. John’s Prep student Nathan Lopez won the event in 9:06.14 minutes.

Class of 2021 graduate Ryan Malieswski finished 12th in the pentathlon with 2,664 points, a person best.

Lowell’s Izaiah Strum won the event with a personal record of 3,289 points.
