FRAMINGHAM – The Bob Moog Foundation announced two new members to its Board of Directors, including Yvonne Spicer, the Mayor of the City of Framingham.

Also joining the Board is two-time Emmy award winning composer Michael Whalen. The President of the Board is David Mash.

“The Bob Moog Foundation is immensely proud to have Yvonne Spicer and Michael Whalen join its Board of Directors,” noted Michelle Moog-Koussa, Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation and the Moogseum in a press release. “Together they bring combined powerful expertise and networks in areas ranging from STEM education to the music industry, from the history of music technology to business development. We are excited to begin working with them to advance the Foundation’s mission to inspire people of all ages through the intersection of science, music, and innovation.”

Based in North Carolina, the mission of the Foundation is to ignite creativity through the intersection of music, science and innovation.

The purpose of our work is to inspire people of all ages through the genius of Bob’s legendary work – where he provided innovative musical instruments to musicians, giving them a new voice for creativity, the Foundation is providing much needed innovative and effective educational opportunities to children–youth who will become tomorrow’s generation of thinkers and problem solvers.
