FRAMINGHAM – A cyclist was struck on Route 9 Monday morning, June 14, during the morning rush hour commute.

The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. near Maynard Road on Route 9.

Bicyclist traveling on “Route 9 eastbound was stuck by someone pulling out of Maynard,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Sgt. Rachel Mickens.

Bicyclist was transported by ambulance to MetroWest Medical Center, said Sgt. Mickens.

Type of injuries are unknown.

“No citation issued at this time,” said Sgt. Mickens.
