PEABODY – Four Framingham runners broke the Framingham High School mile relay record today, May 29, at Peabody High School.

Competing in the Massachusetts State Track Coaches association (MSTCA) Division 1 Relays, the Flyers finished in 18:58.50 minutes, capturing 4th place overall, said Head Coach Chris Collins.

That time shattered the Framingham High record, said Collins.

Runners were sophomore Sam Burgess (4:29 minute mile), junior Arna Singh (4:53), junior Shand Seiffert (4:52), and senior captain Sam Moffat (4:45).

Newton South won the event in 18:17.52 minutes.
