FRAMINGHAM – Americo “Rico” DiRamio, 80 of Ashland passed away Saturday May 22, 2021, at his home. 

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Sabatino and Virginia (Forcucci) DiRamio and the husband of Joanne (DiGirolamo) DiRamio. 

Rico worked as a Master Builder for many years in the Metrowest area and worked as an engineer for Honeywell Co. earlier in his life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Arthur DiRamio and his wife Doreen of South Windsor, Ct, Jennifer Menard and her husband Edward of Blackstone, Scott DiRamio and his wife Michelle of Webster, Virginia Murphy and her late husband John of Auburn, and Jessica Phillipo and her husband Jason of Goodyear, AZ, 10 grandchildren, Deanna, Christian, Nicholas, Alicia, Nathan, Tyler, Dylan, Ryan, Amanda, and the late John Murphy Jr, one brother, Victor DiRamio of Juno Beach, FL, one sister, Marie Sandonato of Quincy, and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday June 1 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland, followed by a private Funeral Service.
