WELLESLEY – Junior Kylie Chagnon was a triple winner for the Framingham Flyers yesterday in Wellesley.

But the girls outdoor track & field team lost to the Raiders 107-29. The Flyers are still seeking their first team win this outdoor season.

“Kylie Chagnon deserves a huge shout out for learning several new events these past 2 weeks and finding a way to win 3 events today,” said Coach Chris Collins

Chagnon won the Javelin event, the discus, and the 400 meter race. She ran the 400 in 64.7 seconds.

In the discus, she threw 73-feet, 9-5 inches. Framingham junior Chloe Mills took third place with 51-feet, 10-inches.

Sophomore Maya Bishop won the 100-meter event in 12.5 seconds, to qualify for the state meet. Bishop also placed third in the javelin event.

Senior captain Kim Lugon took third place in 13.1 seconds.

Junior captain Trinity Trainor finished third in the shot put with a throw of 20-feet, 9-inches.

“With Sophie Albright on an injured ankle and doing an AMAZING job helping us coach HJ with some of our young jumpers a lot of great things happened as everyone found a way to help make each event a battle, said Collins.

Freshman Emily Richardson captured third place in the high jump at 4-feet, 6-inches.

Junior captain Priscilla Mota took third place in the long jump with a leap of 15-feet, 8-inches.

Freshman Abby Desmairis, who has already qualified for the state tourney in the 200 meter race, finished third in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 69.1 seconds. She also took third in the 200-meter event in 27.6 seconds.

Next for the Flyers is a home meet next Wednesday, May 19.
