FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Framingham man, asleep behind the wheel, in an intersection Sunday night, May 2.

At the intersection of Bishop Drive and Arthur Street police found a man “sleeping behind the wheel,” said Sgt. Rachel Mickens.

The vehicle was in the travel lane.

Police arrested the driver Willie Balinda, 41, of 106 Mansfield Street in Framingham at 10:22 p.m.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle after license suspended, and a warrant out of Natick.
