FRAMINGHAM – Paula Ferazzi Swift a resident of Framingham will become President of Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts (PPAM) starting May 1.

Ferazzi Swift was elected and sworn in virtually during the annual convention in February 2021. She leaves her position as VP of Technology for the past 5 years to step into the role as President.

The Professional Photographers of Massachusetts is an affiliate of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and consists of professional photographers, suppliers and image makers in the state of Massachusetts.

PPA, the International Photographers Association and Professional Photographers of America, is a worldwide association which exists to assist its members in achieving their professional, artistic and fraternal goals: promote public awareness of the profession; and to advance the making of images in all of its disciplines as an art, a science and a visual recorder of history. Ferazzi Swift is the owner of Paula Swift Photography, Inc. in Sudbury, and specializes in maternity, newborn, children, family, pets and high school senior portrait photography. Swift has been a professional photographer for 26 years, is a Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman and a Certified Professional Photographer.

She was a 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2014 Photographer of the Year-Bronze Medalist for her entries at the Professional Photographers of America ( PPA) International Photographic Competition ( IPC).

Ferazzi Swift was an editorial photographer in Massachusetts, when she was a photojournalist for 10 years at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. where she was part of the photography staff’s Pulitzer finalists in 2000 for Feature Photography for their coverage of the deadly Worcester warehouse fire that took the lives of six brave firefighters.

Ferazzi Swift is a Framingham resident for 21 years, a married mom with three sons and her photography studio, Paula Swift Photography, Inc. is located in Sudbury at 730 Boston Post Road in the Wayside Plaza.
