1 Today is normally tax day, but due to the pandemic it has been moved to May 17, 2021.

2. Today is One Boston Day. It is the 8th anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. Individuals are asked to perform acts of kindness today. A list of ideas can be found on the One Boston Day website.

Boston Mayor Kim Janey will hold a moment of silence at 2:49 p.m. to mark the time of the first explosion outside of city hall

At 5 p.m. Today, Governor Charlie Baker will join Boston Mayor Janey to participate in a wreath laying ceremony to commemorate One Boston Day, honoring those who were lost in the tragic events surrounding the 2013 Boston Marathon.
