FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Rutland Man on his second offense of driving while under the influence of alcohol on Route 30, Tuesday night, April 6.

Arrested at 5:25 p.m. was Scott Skowyra, 40, of 360 Main Street in Rutland. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense.

Police received a report of an erratic driver near Logan Express and Route 30, said Sgt. Rachel Mickens.

The driver was reported to be swerving on the road, said the police spokesprson.

Police officers located the motor vehicle in the parking lot of REI, with the driver in it.

“Officers made contact with Skowyra and based on observations determined he was intoxicated,” said Sgt. Mickens.
