FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced today, 101 new COVID-19 cases since Friday.
This is the first triple-digit case report in weeks.
Since the pandemic, there have been 238 deaths, as the City announced a new death today, March 29.
Framingham has had a total of 7,549 coronavirus cases since the pandemic began. Framingham has about 74,000 residents.
That means more 10% of the City has been diagnosed with COVID-19 since the pandemic began a year ago this month.
The good news is 5,796 individuals have recovered.

This month, the City of Framingham began to release vaccination data.
Earlier this month, Gov. Baker announced that the public, age 16 and older, would be eligible for the vaccine starting April 19.
Active cases in the City of Framingham increased 1,468 to 1,515
Individuals in quarantine is at 670.
