FRAMINGHAM – It is with great sadness that the family of John M. McGrath, Jr. announce his passing on March 15, 2021 at the age of 56.

Survived by his Father John McGrath, his Mother Donna Messineo and Aunt Eleanor Roberts. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Anne McGrath, Mary Arrandale, Michelle Gates and Christina McGrath, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by Leonard McGrath, Nancy Ahearn, Ralph McGrath and Kenneth McGrath.

Known to friends as Jack, he was born March 5, 1965 in Saxonville.

He was an avid, professional fisherman of the Cape Cod Canal.  Jack will be missed and fondly remembered by family and his many friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jack’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street in Framingham on Monday, March 22 from 4-8 p.m.

Proper social distancing and mask etiquette will be required.  

His Funeral Mass and Interment will be celebrated privately.
